About this collection
No flowers in this one, just fronds: ostrich fern, maidenhair fern, cinnamon fern, hart's tongue, royal fern, and bracken. Names and Latin binomials run under each plate in a fine script italic.
On warm white the set sits quietly, like pages out of a herbarium; on deep black the fronds read as lacework, and the maidenhair's fine leaflets show best. Good for a bathroom, a screened porch, or a stair landing.
For variety of shape, hang maidenhair fern, hart's tongue, and painted fern together - three fronds that look nothing alike.
- Matte poster, printed on demand
- Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
- Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
- Sixteen distinct frond silhouettes - pattern from across the room, botany up close.
