About this collection

Sixteen raptors in the manner of a nineteenth-century ornithology plate: red-tailed hawk, Cooper's hawk, northern goshawk, bald eagle, golden eagle, osprey, peregrine falcon, and American kestrel among them. Each plate carries the bird's common name and Latin binomial in script italic.

On warm white the set reads like an old field guide; on deep black the plumage does the work - the osprey's pale breast and the hawks' rust and slate tones hold the light. They belong in a den, an entry hall, or anywhere lodge decor already lives.

Start with the falcons - peregrine falcon, merlin, and prairie falcon make a clean vertical trio beside a doorway.

  • Matte poster, printed on demand
  • Six sizes, 8x10 up to 24x36 inches
  • Printed reproduction of an illustrated design - sold unframed
  • One collection covers every hunting style - hawks, eagles, falcons, a kite, a harrier, and an osprey.
